HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

Dr. Neeraja.M , a listed Ph.D Supervisor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Anathapuram, is Head of the Department of Management Studies SVCE(A). She has 19 years of experience in teaching, research & Industry. She has published 2 books, 14 Book chapters and 38 articles in various Scopus indexed international journals and magazines.
Dr. Neeraja.M has done her Master of Business Administration from Sri Venkateshwara University & Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (Women’s University) ,Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
She is also serving as member, boards of studies of many universities. She has visited African countries attending to assignments including Academic work, Academic visits, and giving spiritual talks and as well taking part in community service assignments.
Honors and awards: Gurudevo Bava National Award 2023, Best performing Faculty member for academic year 2022-2023, Best Research Paper Certificate in International conference on Tourism, travel and hospitality management-2020, Best Teacher award 2018, Pride women’s 2018 award.

Mission

1 - To impart foundations of applied science and engineering subjects in order to apply, analyze and solve problems in computational aspects.
2 - To inculcate ability in creativity and design of computer support systems and impart knowledge and skills to analyze, design, test and implement various software applications.
3 - To strengthen higher education, research, prepare for globally acclaimed competitions, imbibe in civic-leadership qualities and to trigger social, ethical, holistic and behavioral approach.
Problem Solving Skills: Ability to design and develop computing tools with moderate complexity in the areas pertaining to  database, data analytics, networking, web and app design, IoT and information security with integration.
Professional Skills: Ability to apply standard practices and methods in software project management and software development using suitable programming environments to deliver quality product to the industry.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE

Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PROBLEM ANALYSIS

Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT OF SOLUTIONS

Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

CONDUCT INVESTIGATIONS OF COMPLEX PROBLEMS

Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

MODERN TOOL USAGE

Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

THE ENGINEER AND SOCIETY

Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY

The Department of Business Administration (MBA) was established in 2009. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year professional postgraduate program with an intake of 240 currently. We emphasize Management Skill Developmental Activities and enhance management efficiency through a case study approach, equipping students with ethical values, principles, and creative knowledge essential for adapting to the ever-changing industrial landscape.
